Pakistani actress, Zainab Qayyum requested her co-stars to not attend any social gatherings amid surge in Covid-19 cases and put other’s life in danger.
Qayyum tweeted, “[H]onestly, as an actor, i dont have a choice but to go to work where we work under the strictest SOPs. i havent met anyone apart from my costars on set for fear of being a silent carrier since last year. have had 11 covid tests (all neg)plz dont host/attend social events. [sic]”
She added, “And then come on set to work with us.”
A fan also asked Qayyum, “We never see you in any gathering's pictures.”
To which she responded and said, “because i am choosing NOT to go i am responsible not inly for myself but also my costars who i have to come on set and work with daily [sic]. im not going to put them or their families at risk, nor do i expect them to put me at risk either....”
