Emily Osment filed for divorce from her husband, Jack Anthony, after spending five months together as a married couple.
As reported by TMZ, the 32-year-old American actress and singer submitted divorce documents on Friday, March 7, due to irreconcilable differences.
Osment issued a statement in which she heartbrokenly announced her separation from Anthony, saying, "I think with any big decision in your life."
"Whether it’s relationships or work or whatever it may be, you have to firmly plant both feet in that decision, Ultimately, it didn’t work out," the Hannah Montana actress stated.
Osment, who will turn 33-year-old on Monday, March 10, exchanged marital vows with her now estranged husband, Anthony, on October 12, 2024.
The two got engaged in June 2023, and after a year of knowing each other, the former couple decided to tie the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony.
The singer-turned-actress made the delightful announcement of her engagement in an adorable Instagram post.
At the time, she penned a heartwarming caption for her post that read, "I did not know life could be this sweet, I am so proud of the life we have built together and the people we have become over the last few years."
As of now, neither Emily Osment nor Jack Anthony have confirmed their divorce on their social media handles.
