Russell Brand is set to speak at Florida's New College, just eight days after being formally charged with rape.
As per PEOPLE, the Get Him to the Greek star will talk about the cancel culture at Florida's New College.
During his discussion, he will also share thoughts on censorship and free speech while being interviewed by New College President Richard Corcoran.
It is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at the college in Sarasota, Fla.
The title of the event is "Thinking without Permission: A Conversation with Russell Brand on Free Speech, Censorship, and Cultural Power."
To note, it came after Brand was charged by the Metropolitan Police with charges of rape, one count of indecent assault, one count of oral rape and two counts of sexual assault following an investigation by detectives that began in 2023.
Four women have come forward in connection with the charges.
In September 2023, Brand was first accused of sexual assault.
It all started when five women opened up on their alleged experiences in a joint investigation by The Sunday Times, The Times and Channel 4 current affairs show Dispatches.
