Elle Fanning has turned 27 on Wednesday, April 9 and her elder sister, Dakota Fanning, went an extra mile to celebrate the joyous occasion.
Taking to her Instagram account, The Watchers actress shared a first-ever delivery room photo from the day Elle was born.
In the image, the 4-year-old Dakota could be seen snuggling with newborn baby Elle as they posed in their mother Hannah's arms.
Alongside the adorable photo, the Uptown Girls star also penned a heartwarming note for Elle
"Our first photo together 27 years ago today,” she wrote in the caption.
Dakota continued, “I was asleep in the delivery room during Elle’s birth, so I can really say we have been together from the start.”
"What an honor that has been, and I can’t wait for the rest. HBD @ellefanning I love you,” she added.
Elle also reciprocated the love in the comment section penning, “I love you my Cody!!!!"
Other celebrities like Michelle Pfeiffer, who costarred in the girls' 2001 breakout I Am Sam, wrote "Happy Birthday Elle!" in the comments as well.
