On International Day of Yoga, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has shared several posts on her social media handle to share how yoga has helped her to stay strong and positive during the tough times in her lives.
The Queen starlet penned detailed notes about her connection with Yoga. Taking to her Instagram handle, the Thalaivi star shared her deep connection with the first Yogi of the world, Lord Shiva. She posted a special throwback picture from her time spent at an ashram and thanked Lord Shiva for giving the gift of Yoga to humanity.
In the photo, the actress is seen posing in front of a huge statue of Lord Shiva and wrote, "On this auspicious occasion of #internationalyogaday I want to thank and remember the one and only Guru of all Gurus, the first Yogi, the celestial being who was called Yakshroopa which also means an alien who came from else where on this planet to give humanity the gift of knowledge. That yogi who gave us the gift of Yoga was called the Aadiyogi means the very first yogi…. Also known as Lord Shiva. He does not get enough credit for his contributions to humanity even though he continues to prevail among us through his many gifts like Yoga. She also revealed how yoga helped cure her mother of multiple health issues and her parents become all fit again.
The Tanu Weds Manu actress also shared with her fans about the acid attack on her sister Rangoli and how it has scarred her so much that she stopped speaking altogether.
She recalled that she was 19 at that time and didn’t know how to help her sister. “I desperately wanted her to talk to me, so I took her every where with me even to my Yoga classes. She started practising Yoga and I saw dramatic transformation in her. Not only she started to respond to her pain and my lame jokes but also regained her lost vision in one eye,” she said.
Further, Kangana shared a series of pictures of his nephew Prithvi doing morning Yoga. She could not stop gushing over the little one and his love for Yoga.
Meanwhile, Kangana is currently in Mumbai and gearing up to head to Budapest for Dhaakad's shoot schedule. Besides this, she also has Thalaivi lined up for release.
