US Vice President JD Vance has announced he will pay “tribute” to his late friend by hosting “The Charlie Kirk Show.”

According to The New York Post, taking to social media, Vance posted a picture of a chair and set microphone with a cup, pen and notebook to announce that he will be hosting a show in honour of Kirk from the White House on Monday, September 15, 2025.

The 41-year-old wrote, “Tomorrow, I will have the honour of hosting the Charlie Kirk Show. Please join me as I pay tribute to my friend.”

The special show hosted by the vice president will be aired at 12 pm ET, less than a week after a right-wing political activist was shot dead at the Utah Valley University event.

It is worth noting that Kirk and Vance have been close friends for many years the vice president also credited the 31-year-old for his political rise.

After learning about the killing of the Turning Point USA founder, the Marine Corps veteran wrote, “God didn’t answer those prayers, and that’s OK. He had other plans. And now that Charlie is in heaven, I’ll ask him to talk to the big man directly on behalf of his family, his friends, and the country he loved so dearly.”

Vanace also accompanied Kirk’s body during the transport to his home state, Arizona, from Utah and also served as a pallbearer.
