Minecraft has been grappling with a major outage, affecting plenty of users across the USA on Monday, June 29, 2026.
The severe disruption occurred, which has severely affected players using PCs, consoles, and mobile platforms, sparking frustration among all the gaming enthusiasts.
According to Downdetector, a web outage tracking site, a sharp surge in reports was shortly before 7 a.m, as many struggled to access Minecraft's website.
In the USA, nearly 56% users are unable to login, 25% players reported game launch related issues, while the remaining 17% are experiencing server connectivity issues.
Minecraft down
Frustrated users took to several social media sites to express their frustrations regarding the ongoing outage:
A user wrote, “looks like minecraft could be down AGAIN”
Another user wrote, “Minecraft is down? I'm unable to login and even not able to access profile in web page #minecraft #minecraftdown”
“It looks like the Minecraft authentication servers are down again, causing login issues!
The authentication server is returning a "503 Service Unavailable" error, so it's completely dead.
There's nothing we can do but wait, but I'm a bit concerned that it's happening again less,” a third user wrote.
DoorDash outage
DoorDash, a leading on-demand food delivery platform, had also reportedly grappled with a severe outage yesterday.
The delivery company experienced online issues on Sunday, with users reporting problems with the app, including ordering and checkout, according to Downdetector.
The severe DoorDash outage started around 6 p.m. ET in cities across the US, the outage continued approximately four hours until 10 p.m. ET.
DoorDash hasn't yet issued a statement on the cause of the outage, though the company's help account on X has been responding to tweets.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), DoorDash users expressed their frustration and asked questions regarding the ongoing outage.
A user wrote, “I've had the app essentially go down with an error message almost every day this week that I dashed."
“I've reset my phone each time, etc. but is this a bug or issue that is being worked on?”
Another user asked, “@DoorDash_Help once again…Door dash strikes again….AWFUL…It was one thing to not get refunded for a missing item…now I can’t place an order with a year long membership. Please be better."
A user humorously responded to the outage, writing, “People coming to Twitter to check whether DoorDash is down again lol”
