Prince Harry is seemingly making efforts to ease financial challenges!
The Duke of Sussex has made a strategic move involving his upcoming Invictus Games on Sunday, August 2nd.
Notably, the official page of the charitable multi-sport event turned to its Instagram account to reveal the Duke of Sussex's next step.
After revealing the next stop country for the 2029 Invictus Games, Harry, 41, has now announced that the Invictus Foundation is "investing £30,000 to expand recovery through sport across Ukraine."
"As Adaptive Pickleball prepares to make its #InvictusGames debut at Birmingham 2027, the Invictus Games Foundation has awarded a £30,000 grant to the All-Ukrainian Pickleball Federation to expand opportunities for wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans across Ukraine," the official Invictus Games’ page confirmed.
The statement continued, "More than funding a programme, this investment will help build a sustainable, community-led network of trained instructors, allowing members of the Ukrainian Invictus Community to take part in adaptive sport while creating stronger local support for others on their recovery journey."
Prince Harry reveals new hosting country for 2029 Invictus Games
Before this update, Harry had unveiled that the 2029 Invictus Games will be hosted in Daejeon, Republic of Korea.
"We were deeply impressed by Daejeon’s vision, the commitment of its partners and the ambition to create a lasting legacy that extends far beyond the closing ceremony," he announced last month.
This fresh update also followed a report that claimed that the distant member of the British Royal Family is facing a costly legal setback.
Why Prince Harry is facing financial crisis?
The father of two might be left with a multi-million-dollar bill after losing his case against the publisher of the Daily Mail last month.
However, the final amount will depend on an upcoming ruling over legal costs.
For those unaware, Prince Harry – who is gearing up to visit the United Kingdom next month is among seven high-profile claimants who could face mounting legal costs after losing their case against Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL)
The high-profile celebrities, including Sir Elton John, Elizabeth Hurley, Sadie Frost, David Furnish, Baroness Doreen Lawrence, and Sir Simon Hughes, alleged in their lawsuit that unlawful information gathering took place, which the publication denied.
Despite their long-running efforts to secure their privacy, the large celebrity group lost the battle in July when the High Court dismissed the claims after an 11-week trial.
Since then, the Duke of Sussex is seemingly facing a financial crisis.
As of now, Harry has not confirmed these ongoing rumours.
