Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni's legal sage

For those unaware, apart from her acting career, Blake Lively has been running her haircare line since July 2024, via social media, revealing that it had been seven years in the making.

This update came after Blake Lively's rival Justin Baldoni lost his legal battle against the New York Times.

On July 27th, the USA Today reported that the New York Supreme Court Justice Gerald Lebovits ordered Justin Baldoni's studio to pay $171,616.20 in damages to the publication.

Notably, the media company was seeking nearly $181,622.70 in attorney fees under NY's anti-Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation law after the claims against the newspaper in Wayfarer's federal lawsuit were dismissed in June 2025.

After the publication detailed Blake Lively's harassment accusations against Justin Baldoni, the actor filed a lawsuit against the actress and the media publication for damaging his reputation publicly.

The legal drama between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively began on December 31st, when the actress accused the 42-year-old actor and director of sexually harassing her.

Notably, the legal drama also dragged The Times, after the production company, Warner, alleged that the publication tarnished the actor’s reputation by reporting the actress's allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation on the It Ends with Us set.

Now, after the actor and his studio failed to prove their claims in court, they were ordered to pay the publication, which reportedly delights Blake Lively as she and her husband also spent quality time in the Big Apple.
