The Los Angeles Lakers are the NBA's most overrated team, according to Norman Powell.
During a Twitch livestream appearance with popular internet personality N3on, the Chicago Bulls veteran was asked which team he considers the most overrated in the league. Without hesitation, Powell gave a blunt answer, naming the Lakers.
"Bro, I'm gonna say the Lakers," a smiling Powell said.
Lakers have generated hype ever since in the NBA
Year after year, ever since the time of Magic Johnson to Kobe Bryant, the Los Angeles Lakers have often generated massive hype.
Currently, expectations can't be higher given Luka Doncic's presence. The Slovenian superstar has been in LA since his stunning trade from the Dallas Mavericks last year.
So far, the Lakers still haven't gotten over the hump and won it all under Doncic's lead. Despite back-to-back 50-plus-win seasons, the Lakers got bounced out of the first round last year by the Minnesota Timberwolves and were eliminated in the West Semifinals by the Oklahoma City Thunder this past postseason.
