Ben Affleck is setting the record straight about his love life.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at Thursday’s Los Angeles premiere of Animals, the 54-year-old actor-director revealed that dating is “not a big priority in my life” at the moment.

“I work a lot and I see my kids,” the proud father of three said in a clip shared via Instagram.
“There’s not a lot of room” outside of that and his work, he added. “I’m not running around.”

Affleck also addressed The View co-host Ana Navarro’s recent claim that she tried to set him up with Shakira following his split from Jennifer Lopez, despite admitting she has “never met” the actor.
“I hear s--- like that honestly first from people like you,” he told the reporter, before adding, “I swear to God, I never heard that in my whole life.”
Affleck admitted, “I often hear rumors, and I think it’s because, how many single [men]... some people gossip. Stuff gets made up. I don’t really ever get set up, really.”
Inside Ben Affleck’s current priorities
Reflecting on his life now, Affleck said he is in “a good place” and revealed where his priorities lie.
“I’m good and I’m happy,” he said.
Affleck mentioned, “I know what my priorities are. You can’t have two things that are the most important in your life. For me that’s the kids.”
He concluded, “And then I have my work, which I love. And, you know, I’m where I’m at and I’m great. Who knows what adventures life will bring? I’m open to it but I’m not trying to chase anything.”
Ben Affleck’s past relationships
The Gone Girl star and Lopez finalized their divorce in January 2025 after two years of marriage, having previously been engaged before rekindling their romance.
Before Lopez, Affleck was married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 until their divorce was finalized in 2018.
The former couple share three children: Violet, Seraphina and Samuel.
