Dolly Parton is opening up about how her husband, Carl Thomas Dean, reacted to her viral outfit from the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving game!
A few days after the release of her latest album Rockstar in November 2023, Parton went for a gig at the Dallas Cowboys' Thanksgiving game’s halftime.
She rocked a complementary outfit for the team, matching a white vest of blue stars with a blue crop top and white shorts.
“It turned out pretty cool and my husband liked it,” the singer shared, recalling her longtime partner Dean’s reaction. He apparently said, “Those shorts were a little too short.”
To this, Parton replied, “Jealous?” with a hearty laugh, then added, “They weren’t as short as the other girls’!”
The Jolene vocalist has expressed that since everyone was making jokes about her boldly glittering attire, Carl thought of being a funny guy, too. In fact, he suggested perhaps his wife shouldn’t be showing so much skin at the age of 78 because it still seems to be getting the best of people.
