YRF’s Akshaye Widhani has joined hands with Mohit Suri to work on a youthful love story together.
It will be Akshaye’s first production as the company’s CEO.
As reported by Pinkvilla, an insider has said that it’s a flick that will “touch your hearts” because Mohit is simply the best choice for the romantic genre.
The source elaborated that the director’s filmography has so far been completely filled with hit love stories. These include Kalyug, Awarapan, Murder 2, Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, and Half Girlfriend.
Expected to go on floors in late 2024, the film hasn’t been given a name yet, but its makers are looking for fresh faces to cast – most probably actors who haven’t been seen on-screen yet.

For now, Mohit is busy working on a thriller with Akshay Kumar. It was reported by Bollywood Hungama that Rohit Shetty has taken the responsibility of producing it, and has settled for the title Psycho, as it's based on a psychopathic character.
“It's a script that Rohit loves and wants it to be the first from his banner that's not helmed by him,” an industry member informed.
