AB de Villiers confirmed in his February 3 live Q&A session that lovebirds Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are expecting their second baby.
When a fan questioned about the Indian cricketer’s recent withdrawal from the first two test matches played against team England, De Villiers answered that he won’t give away too many details, but Virat did inform him over a text of keeping busy with family.
“Let me just see what he said. I just want to at least give you a little bit of love,” the former batsman changed his mind, adding that the exact message he was received was “Just need to be with my family right now. I am doing well.”
De Villiers then opened up a bit more, “Yes, his second child is on the way. Yes, it's family time, and things are important to him. If you are not true and genuine to yourself, you lose track of what you are here for.”
Tying their wedding knot in 2017, the much-famed Bollywood couple welcomed their first daughter, Vamika, in 2021.
Rumours about Anushka’s second pregnancy have been making rounds since the past few months, especially because of her considerate absence from the spotlight.
