John Abraham has announced his new project to be a joint effort with director Nikkhil Advani.
On February 7, the star shared a poster on Instagram, in which he was seen standing with his back to the camera, carrying a set of guns. It didn’t have any information, but was accompanied by the caption, “Get ready to unleash the action!”
Few minutes later, another image was posted where the movie’s title Vedaa was revealed.
Bunty Aur Babli 2’s lead Sharvari Wagh will be playing a pivotal role alongside John.
It is his next film after the massively successful 2023 starrer Pathaan, where his vengeful role of Jim had received widespread acclaim and love from the audience.
Fans are however tired of the Salaam-e-Ishq actor picking action flicks for the past ten years.
Even his upcoming 2024 movies – The Diplomat, Tehran, Tariq, and now Vedaa – are packed with kicks and punches.
He was last seen as Gursher Singh in a cameo for the 2021 romcom Sardar Ka Grandson.
Before that, John’s proper role in a non-action movie was alongside Chitrangada Singh and Prachi Desai in 2013’s I, Me Aur Main.
