SZA has revealed why she didn’t approach Beyoncé at Grammys 2024 despite wishing for it.
Speaking to E! News, the Snooze singer said that she couldn’t muster up the courage to say anything to Beyoncé.
She remarked, “I was scared to go over. I can't speak unless she wants to speak, in my brain, because I don't want to bother her. She looked so peaceful and beautiful.”
But the artist did get a chance to exchange thoughts with another member of the Carter family.
“Jay-Z did speak to me,” she exclaimed excitedly, “I was so grateful.”
She went on to add that Jay-Z is her all-time favorite, saying, “Jay-Z means the world to me. I’m a Jay-Z stan so bad.”
Workwise, SZA is currently working on her new album Lana, which is a reissue of her previous studio record SOS.
