Akshay Kumar has unveiled a glimpse of his upcoming 2024 movie, Sarfira.
On February 13, the actor shared a mini video on his Instagram, which began by announcing that he is once again working with the makers of Baby, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, and OMG 2 to bring something special.
This was followed by Akshay grinning wide while riding a motorbike as his hands fly freely in the air.
In another shot, he’s seen standing tensely at an airport with planes from Air Deccan parked in the background.
According to this snippet, Sarfira is based on chasing dreams that seem impossible.
It is directed by Sudha Kongara, and additionally stars actors Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal.
The movie is reportedly a remake of a Tamil picture called Soorarai Pottru. Also made by Sudha, it narrates the life of Air Deccan’s founder, G.R. Gopinath.
Akshay is widely known for working in around four to five productions per year, but for 2024, he has announced nine flicks, breaking his 2004 record of appearing in eight films, although his highest is for ten pictures in 1994.
