Alia Bhatt has shared her first look from the upcoming movie, Jigra, while announcing that its shoot schedule has officially ended.

On September 27, she posted three photos from the set on Instagram along with the caption, “Jigra oh… abki teri baari ho. And that’s a film wrap! See you soon.”

In the snaps, actor Vedang Raina of Archies fame is seen sitting next to Alia as they embrace moments of warm smiles and bonding.

Both of them are sporting shorter hair than their usual go-to lengths for professional projects.

Sharing the same pictures on his account, Vedang penned a short note, expressing, “A film and a character that has given me as much as taken away from me. A journey that’s meant everything.”

According to speculations, he is playing the Dear Zindagi lead’s brother in the production, which fans say seems evident from the latest images and announcement video.

In a statement to Indian Express, the budding celebrity indirectly confirmed this by saying, “Everyone keeps asking, but I’m not sure what it is about. To play a sibling to Alia Bhatt sounds like a very interesting opportunity.”

Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra’s theatrical debut has been reserved for September 27, 2024.
