Ananya Panday has given a tour of her recently purchased Mumbai house, which has been designed by Shah Rukh Khan’s forever soulmate, Gauri Khan.
The actress used to live with parents Chunky and Bhavana Panday along with her sister, Rysa Panday, until she invested in this property last November after choosing to “grow up.”
Having invited Architectural Digest India for an inspection, she said, “I wanted to buy my own cutlery, I wanted to host people a certain way. I think it’s become a metaphor for me actually growing up, taking responsibilities, and adulting.”
This dedication has been captured in Gauri’s interior layout.
Despite keeping the house simple to show maturity, she has added a touch of girly elements for reflecting Ananya’s bubbly personality.
There are walls painted with flowers, pink caramel curtains, and a large living room, where the star spends “all of her time.”
The space features a dining table, newspaper area, TV set, as well as a “prized” bookshelf.
But the best part is a corner of her walk-in closet, which proudly displays a note penned by Karan Johar during the filming of Student of the Year 2: “Welcome to Dharma, Ananya. Kill it!!”
Gauri is often trolled for her designs, but remains a popular celebrity choice for house makeovers.
She has notably collaborated with Karan Johar, Sidharth Malhotra, and Jacqueline Fernandez before.
