Netflix dropped official teaser of highly anticipated film Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba on Thursday, February 29, 2024.
Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey starrer romantic-thriller is all set to bring back the magic of Rani and Rishu’s love story on Netflix.
Nearly three years after the massive success of 2021’s Haseen Dillruba, the highly anticipated teaser of Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba offers a sneak peek into Rishu and Rani’s life after the major cliffhanger in part 1.
The teaser begins with the police cop lauding Rani, saying, “kamaal ka climax tha, which translates to ‘the climax was great’” referring to how smartly the married couple got away with Rani’s boyfriend’s murder in the previous part of the film.
Meanwhile, two new characters Abhimanyu, played by Sunny Kaushal and police officer Mrityunjay, played by Jimmy Shergil are also introduced in the new teaser.
Taapsee, Vikrant and Sunny shared the teaser of Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba on their respective Instagram accounts with a tag line that read, “Love and madness in the story of Rishu and Rani, both are still left. Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba is coming soon, only on Netflix!”
However, no other update regarding the storyline and the release date of the film is disclosed yet.
Shortly after the teaser was shared by Netflix, fans expressed their epic and exciting reactions in the comments section.
One fan wrote, “It's interesting and exciting to see that in sequel they have continued the same story.”
While another noted, “Taapsee, Massey and our C.I.D Inspector Abhijeet+Shergill and Sunny! Such a jodi can only be made in NETFLIX! Loved the previous part!”
