Elon Musk has said that soon, long form videos from his platform X will be available on smart televisions.
"Coming soon", the billionaire wrote on X, sharing an X post that said, "You can soon watch your favourite X long form videos directly on your SmartTVs."

Earlier, Fortune magazine also reported that X has plans to launch a smart TV app for Samsung and Amazon users next week. The app may look similar to YouTube.
Musk, along with making an announcement about the long-form videos on smart TV, said, “You can already watch and use Apple AirPlay to play videos from your phone to your TV.”
Last year after Musk indicated about his plans of a super app that will allow messaging and will facilitate peer-to-peer payments, the platform last October launched an early version of audio and video of some of its users.
X is also partnering with former Fox commentator Tucker Carlson and former CNN anchor Don Lemon to become a ‘video-first platform.’
Ever since Musk has bought the platform it has been surrounded by controversies which make it difficult to retain advertisers. Last month the platform announced that soon it will allow advertisers to run video advertisements next to certain creators.
