Asha Bhosle’s granddaughter, Zanai Bhosle, is ready to mark her cinematic journey as a star kid.
For her first-ever big screen appearance, the budding actor has already bagged a high profile role in director Sandeep Ssingh’s drama biopic, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, which is based on an Indian ruler of the same name.
She will be seen playing the historic figure’s wife, Rani Sai Bhonsale, who was known for her beauty, selflessness, and abundant affection.
Showing support for her family’s youngling, Asha jee tweeted on X:
“I am truly overjoyed to see my lovely granddaughter joining the cinema world in the upcoming grand epic. I sincerely hope that she claims her destined position in cinematic history and wish her all the very best.”
Just this debut movie can be prove to be a turning factor in Zanai’s early steps as Rani Sai held a very dear part in Shivaji’s life.
It’s narrated that after her untimely death, he became extremely depressed with sadness looming around at all times. Even his other wife, Soyarabai, couldn’t make up for the hole she left behind.
Set to release in 2024, the production is rumored to star Shahid Kapoor as the lead.
