Shah Rukh Khan and Sunil Grover’s silly skits from Zee Cine Awards 2024 have left fans rolling with laughter.
The two stars reunited after Jawaan to entertain audiences once again, and have turned out to be quite successful as their videos went viral on X.
While only a teaser has been officially released from the prize ceremony, a user tweeted a sequence of clips from the live mini-performances, which were recorded by a paparazzi present on the occasion.
In the first snippet, SRK announced that he will go over an assortment of dialogues with a “Pretty Paro,” who is unveiled to be Sunil.
Both of them then went on to create scenes using themes from SRK’s own movies: Devdas, K3G, Don, Chak De India, and DDLJ, where punchlines from a combination of his flicks and advertisements were used, such as the Vimal Pan Masala commercial.
Sunil was dressed up for the heroine’s part in each segment whereas his partner played the usual hero.
In the 2012 instalment of Zee Cine Awards, SRK did a similar set of skits with superstar Priyanka Chopra.
At the time, they were relishing the success of the recently released Don 2 and had become a pair of great friends.
Watchers of the new version think that the actor is reminiscing the glory of those days, although at the time, he hadn’t overdone ‘SRKgiri’ in the gigs they did together.
