Ed Sheeran, who is touring India for the third time sang praises for the Indian-Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh, also reflected on his past visits to the country in 2015 and 2017.

During his conversation with Brut India, the Shape of You hit maker revealed, “I have listened to a lot of Diljit Dosanjh. I think he is great.”

He also gushed over Armaan Malik, with whom he shook a leg on Telugu track Butta Bomma noting, “I love Armaan, obviously having worked with him. And I think King has made some really exciting stuff.”

Sheeran also while recounting his previous experiences visiting India, said, “The first time I came over here (India), I went to a small party with a bunch of people.”

He continued, “Those were big stars in Bollywood. And I think that kind of opened the door. There’s a lot of Indian music that’s fantastic. I’d say that’s kind of what I’ve been listening to the most for the last like a year and a bit.”

In his another interview with the Hindustan Times, Ed Sheeran also praised the audience of India noting that he feels more connected with them because they share the same excitement as he does.

For the unversed, Ed Sheeran came to India for his ongoing Mathematics Tour show on March 16, 2024, after this he will be touring in some countries of Europe.
