Ariana Grande’s beloved Nonna just hit a new Billboard record!
The pop star’s 98-year-old grandmother, Marjorie Grande, who she lovingly calls Nonna, has become the oldest artist to chart on the Billboard Hot 100.
Marjorie broke the record after Ariana's new single Ordinary Things, featuring her, hit No.55 on the chart.
To note, Ariana's Nonna was the co-writer and singer on the track and has earned massive credit for it.
Ordinary Things marks the final track on Grande's seventh album. Towards the end of the song, Marjorie dedicates the lyrics to her late husband Frank Grande.
In an interview with Zane Lowe, Grande opened up about Ordinary Things saying, “I knew Ordinary Things was the end of the album. I was like, ‘This is the last song, but I wonder how I can put that button on it and have it land emotionally the way that I feel it can, and how can I answer the question?’"
