Diljit Dosanjh has dedicated his 2021 song, Lover, to fellow star Deepika Padukone.
The actress had recently sent him a parcel of products from her self-care brand, 82°E.
Taking this sweet gesture to Instagram on Wednesday, he uploaded a story while sending back a thank you in his usual hilarious Punjabi stride.
As the video began, it showed that the singer had already unpacked the goods out of eagerness, holding out a moisturizer along with a face, beard, and body cleanser in his hand.
He joked, “Should I use these or decorate them on my dressing table?”
“Even though I’m in need of a moisturizer because I don’t have one, I’ll still keep this one pinned on my dressing table,” the celebrity added, followed by a very enthusiastic chant of thank you.
Next, the footage displayed a note penned by Deepika herself, which was directly addressed to Diljit.
Floored by this stance of the star, he sang his mighty popular track, Lover, as a way of showing gratefulness.
Just two weeks ago, Diljit had also devoted the same song to his favorite Crew co-star, Kareena Kapoor Khan, in an Instagram post.
