Baltimore bridge collapse: bodies of two missing recovered from submerged truck
Six workers were presumed dead, out of which the bodies of four are yet to be found

Nearly two days after the Baltimore Bridge collapse, the bodies of two more workers were recovered from a red pick-up truck found submerged under water late on Wednesday, March 27.

According to the BBC, Maryland State Police at a press conference identified the two workers recovered by divers, as Alejandro Hernandez Fuentes, 35, from Mexico, and Dorlian Ronial Castillo Cabrera, 26, from Guatemala.

Meanwhile, two more missing victims have also been identified as Miguel Luna from El Salvador, and Maynor Suazo Sandoval from Honduras.

The police have said that divers cannot continue the search operation safely because of concrete and debris in the murky Patapsco river.

As per an official, sonar scans are now being used because they believe that there are bodies in the vehicles ‘encased in superstructure and concrete’ that came down from the bridge after the collision.

The Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore collapsed early on Tuesday, March 26, after a cargo ship hit it.

As a result eight construction workers fell into the water, out of them two were rescued on the same day, while the rest of the six were presumed dead after the rescue and search operation ended.
