Boney Kapoor has said that his choice to silently drop Anil Kapoor from No Entry 2 has made the actor furious.

Sitting for a Zoom Entertainment interview, he revealed, “Before I could tell my brother Anil about the No Entry sequel and the cast involved, he got angry as the news was already leaked.”

“It was unfortunate that it was leaked. I know he wanted to be a part of the sequel, but there was no space. I wanted to explain why I did what I did,” the producer added.

According to him, the second part isn’t fit for the Taal lead since there is no relevant role for him, and if an extraneous one is added, it would make the movie lose its charm.

Boney elaborated, “Varun and Arjun are great friends. Their chemistry could come out in the story, and Diljit is massive today. He has a great fan following. I wanted to make it relevant in today’s time.”

And, then, he further disclosed that Anil has chosen to give him a silent treatment in turn, saying, “In the process, my brother is still not talking properly. I hope it all gets sorted out soon.”

Originally, No Entry also starred Salman Khan, Bipasha Basu, Esha Deol, Fardeen Khan, and Celina Jaitly.

While no one else from the first instalment seems upset over being dropped from the second part, only Anil is keen on reprising his role.
