Hans Zimmer will reportedly be working on his first ever Bollywood project under A.R. Rahman’s guidance in Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming movie, Ramayana.

According to Pinkvilla, director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra took Rahman on board for heading as the soundtrack composer sometime back.

Most recently, they approached the German music composer for a possible collaboration between these two music giants, and have even sealed this special deal.

A source told the media portal, “Zimmer is gearing up to make his debut in the Indian film industry with Ramayana. He is fascinated by the vision for the story. Namit and Tiwari have a global vision.”

Describing this union as a “match made in heaven,” the insider informed that every string is being pulled to turn the described mental picture into a magnificently rich reality.

While many South Asians are fully aware of the command that Rahman has over soulful tracks, Zimmer is known for arranging a glorious chorus after having brushed up on every little detail of the project.

Despite putting grand melodies together, his work in the movie is believed to be limited to just one composition, which will be Ramayana’s theme.
