Shahid Kapoor has joined in on the fun of laughing at his own hook step from the megahit title track of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.
On April 5, the actor uploaded a story on Instagram, where he seriously stared into the camera at first, then suddenly pulled off a ridiculous version of the famous song’s hook step, even wearing a silly facial expression while doing so.
This small clip ended with him breaking into a childish laughter at the end.
Seemingly, Shahid was lazing in bed on a work free day, and so thought of creating a priceless parody of the dance number, which has already racked up on a fair share of trolling since its release on January 29.
But because of being an odd addition to the music video by choreographer Shaik Jani Basha, it helped the song nab more publicity.
The titular piece has been trending on YouTube since the past two months, still giving a neck throttling competition to fresher scores such as Yimmy Yimmy (Jacqueline Fernandez), Choli Ke Peeche (Crew), and Kamsin Kali (LSD 2).
Fans have compared the hook step in particular to an elephant’s trunk along with the classic naagin dance.
Interestingly, in the video Shahid created, he was spewing hissing sounds as well.
