David Beckham’s company, DB Ventures, has taken actor Mark Wahlberg’s fitness organization, F45, to court for $10 million.

Court documents obtained by media portal TMZ claim that the former footballer was “duped” into signing an endorsement contract.

He had initially agreed to lead as the global ambassador for F45 in August 2021, but then stepped away for not receiving the $10 million that were promised to him as part of the deal.

Beckham was had been allegedly offered stocks to compensate, although they had never been delivered to him after share prices reportedly went down because of a particular investment, which has also been named in the lawsuit.

First complaint for this was filed in May 2023, where Mark’s lawyered denied the claims and went on to call the accusation a “fraudulent conduct,” as reported by The Sun.

Previously, he was sued by the star alongside Greg Normal, but a judge had ordered them to separate their cases in 2022.

F45 was established in 2011, and once had a value estimated at $1.4 billion, but then lost over $370 million from 2021 to 2023, according to Sydney Morning Herald.

As employees face lay-offs with cost-cutting strategies swinging by, co-founders Adam Gilchrist and Rob Deutsch have also been dragged to court.
