Prince Harry lost big at the British Book Awards last night in London after his 2023 memoir Spare failed to bag a single win.

Mirror UK on Tuesday, May 14, reported that the Duke of Sussex’s explosive tell-all emerged as the big loser at the awards, and even lost out to a simple puzzle book despite selling a record-breaking number of copies upon its release in January, 2023.

As per reports, Spare lost in every category it was nominated in, including Book of the Year, Non-Fiction section, and even Author of the Year.

Prince Harry lost the Author of the Year award to Katherine Rundell, and Spare lost out to GT Karber’s Murdle in the Book of the Year category. Harry also lost in the non-fiction category to Politics on the Edge by Rory Stewart.

Spare was widely bashed in the UK for it’s extreme anti-royal stance; Prince Harry made some scathing claims in the bombshell memoir, including saying that Prince William physically attacked him, and even revealed that he thought of Queen Camilla as his ‘wicked stepmother’ and that he was against his dad Charles marrying her.
