Jon Bovi Jon has verified the news of his daughter, Stephanie Rose Bongiovi, tying the knot after having teased at her wedding with a song earlier this year.
The 30-year-old has lead a private life and hasn’t yet chosen to reveal her fiancé’s name publicly.
Just two months back, her father had hinted that she’s about to walk down the aisle when he talked about writing Kiss the Bride for her.
Now, Jon has officially confirmed that Stephanie has already exchanged engagement rings and is expected to get hitched soon under the shadow of that special track.
“I wrote a little song when she was five years old called I Got The Girl on an album called Crush. Now she's 30 years old and getting married. You blink your eye and these things happen,” the rock star said on This Morning.
He added emotionally, “And so, there’s a song called Kiss the Bride on the record that's quote moving for me as the dad. I promise you it's the wedding song of the next 100 years.”
The same melody will also be listed on his upcoming album, Forever; for which, the release date is yet to be announced.
