The Al-Nassr player known for experimenting with various hairstyles over the year, has always maintained a clean-shaved look.
This time the 39-year-old athlete ditched his clean-shaved look for a beard.
The images that have long since gone viral did not convince Ronaldo fans as many believed they were artificially generated.
One Instagram user in awe of the footballer’s bearded look commented, “Looking good on him but I know this is AI generated, looks so real."
Another wrote, "Isn’t that AI?"
Many of his other die-hards too revealed that the Portuguese player bears a stark resemblance to his international teammate Bernardo Silva and the former Manchester United star Michael Carrick.
The edited images have been found on Ronaldo’s Instagram profile, with a slew of uploads of him training with his team members.
