Sara Haider rolled into Hollywood after Humayun Saeed, Fawad Khan

Sara Haider is next Pakistani in line after prominent actors Humayun Saeed, Fawad Khan, Mehwish Hayat, and Ahad Raza Mir to star in an enormous Hollywood show.

Featuring in the ongoing 23rd season of Law & Order, the singer made a bowling appearance as Defense Attorney Wendy Stratford in its ninth episode, titled Family Ties.

While her small screen journey has just started, she was seen in the 2016 ZEE5 fantasy drama, Khaemae Mein Matt Jhankain, before this.

Sara Haider broke into acting with the 2014 musical adaptation of Grease that starred Sanam Saeed, Ayesha Omar, Ahmed Ali Akbar, and many other yet-to-emerge celebrities with Nida Butt serving as its director.

Around the same time, she started taking swift strides toward a more established singing career.

After receiving a call from Coke Studio, the artist was finalized as the backing vocalist for Season 7, eventually bagging Ae Dil Kisi Ki Yaad Mein alongside Ali Zafar in Season 8, then returning for Season 9 with Meri Meri.

During her college days, she had become part of an Indie band named Teeen, which is most-remembered for its slow-burner track, Barishon Mein, and did many popular advertisement jingles on the side.

Most recently, the vocalist graduated with a drama degree from the Juilliard School in New York, then went straight to punch down Hollywood’s Law & Order.

In only a short span of time, Sara Haider became a very strong contender in the Pakistani singing field, and is now ready to glide professionally through acting.
