Shah Rukh Khan is opening up about taking a break from shooting following a hectic, albeit successful, 2023.
While talking to Star Sports amid the ongoing Indian Premiere League (IPL), Khan, owner of Kolkata Knight Riders team, expressed his eagerness to return to film sets this year.
The 'Khan of Bollywood' stated, “I felt I could rest. I did three physically demanding films. So, I said maybe I’ll take some time off. I told the whole team I’ll come to their matches.”
SRK went on to say, “I told the whole team that I’ll come to all the matches. It makes me happy to be here.”
The Om Shanti Om star continued, “Fortunately, I’ve my next shoot in July or August, we plan in June so it might start in June. It makes me happy to be here."
For the unversed, Khan gave three back-to-back blockbusters in 2023, Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki, and is now taking a much-deserved break from films and shoots.
The father of three is currently spending all his time supporting his KKR boys in the ongoing IPL matches.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is next expected to share the screen with his only daughter Suhana in a film titled King.
