Zendaya’s red carpet looks are incomplete without her signature high heels!
During the conversation at Recho Omondi’s fashion podcast, The Cutting Room Floor, Law Roach, revealed why the Euphoria star often wore the Christian Louboutin So Kate 120-millimeter (4.7-inch) pumps at an events.
According to him, the sky-high shoes are "one of the most versatile shoes, [and] one of the most painful."
Roach said that Zendaya had been wearing the So Kate shoes—which were inspiration by model Kate Moss—since she was fourteen years old.
Recounting the moment when the Challengers star wore her heels at a press event for the first and struggling with it, he shared, “I was like, ‘You will not take these shoes off.’ She kept them on, and the next day, she put them on again," adding, "And the next day, she put them on again."
He stated, "Now," adding, "her feet are kind of, like, trained. She could wear them all day.”
It became her signature style on every red carpet, and Roach told Omondi, “People are like, ‘We’re gonna send shoes,’ and I’m like, ‘She’s only gonna wear So Kates.' "
To note, Zendaya and Roach collaborated on several eye-catching fashion moments, most notably at the 2024 Met Gala and during press runs for Challengers and Dune: Part Two.
Her signature So Kates is featured in most of her looks.
