Mahira Khan’s lifestyle brand Mashion came under attack due to its alliance with a pro-Israel brand owned by the global consumer goods giant, Unilever.
To note Unilever has faced boycott calls from the public alike for its pro-Israel stance.
Mashion made headlines after it shared a reel created by Dove for Mother’s Day, which showcased that a potential collaboration between the two brands was in the cards.
However, the post did not sit in well with social media users, given the Humsafar superstar’s vocal take on the ongoing situation in Palestine.
Many from the public slammed the Pakistani brand for partnering with Dove.
Upon seeing the viral video, entrepreneur and founder of Soul Sisters Pakistan expressed rage over the sudden turn of events in the comments section underneath, "A brand that supports the killing of mothers in Gaza - and is deleting any pro-Palestinian comments on that video.”
For the unversed, after facing intense scrutiny on Instagram, Mashion deleted the promotional post but it remains on Facebook, garnering a bunch of reactions yet again.
“Why are you collaborating with genocide supports? You're a Muslim Pakistani platform and this is what you do?? What a shame. Mansion and Mahira Khan are now added to the #boycott list,” one comment read.
Mahira Khan tied the knot for the second time with a businessman Salim Karim in an imitate ceremony in Bhurban last year.
