Ebrahim Raisi’s absence shock after helicopter crash can be allegedly absorbed by Iran.

A political analyst named Marwan Bishara from Al Jazeera has suggested that the country can function without its president in case he’s “incapacitated” from the collision.

The expert acknowledged, “Clearly, this is a grave incident. Having President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian together in the same helicopter is not the best of signs.”

“But Iran, since its Islamic revolution in 1979, has proved to be more than capable of taking all sorts of shots [against it], especially when it comes to political leaders,” he added.

Marwan Bishara explained that the nation doesn’t run under such a dictatorship where the entire system is exposed to collapsing in case a key man falls out.

“There is a really strong elite that is governing in Iran, but there’s also a strong system that’s developing and evolving over the past four decades in a way where there are checks and balances,” he proposed.

Meanwhile, the news channel has also reported that the ongoing search for finding the helicopter carrying Ebrahim Raisi has been paused because of “deteriorating weather.”

While Armenia has “offered help as a friendly neighbor,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed “deep concern.”
