Elon Musk’s bitter mistakes exposed by ex-board member

Elon Musk is said to have lost his focus just when Tesla has reached a critical juncture in its electric vehicle industry life cycle.

A former board member from the company, Steve Westly, gave out what’s going on in the founder’s confused head.

Speaking to CNBC on Thursday, May 23, he said, “For any CEO of any of the top companies in the world, you need to be laser-focused on what you’re doing. Elon Musk’s focus is in too many areas.”

“Look at people like Jensen Huang, who is arguably the greatest CEO in the world right now, continuing to bang out superior results. Focus is the key, and Tesla could use more of it,” the businessman added.

He pointed that this is why Elon Musk is no longer able to chase teach darling firm, Nvidia, or the “Magnificent Seven” stock race anymore.

Seeing Tesla not living up to its potential, even Steve Westly moved away from investing in it and instead started his own business called ‘The Westly Group.’

Recent foul ups and mismanagement shot by Elon Musk lead to a close downfall of his companies, thus making him cutting their sizes down with huge layoffs, as was famously observed with X.

These mistakes have become mounting distractions for him and he has allegedly “lost ground” through misleading as a businessman.
