Google has announced to introduction of the AI-powered feature Magic Pixel on older devices, pixel 7 and Pixel 6.

As per Indian Express, earlier, the unique software features like Magic Pixel, Audio Magic Editor and Video Boost were limited to the latest flagship phones of the company, Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 pro.

Magic Pixel is a set of numerous image editing and enhancing tools which allow users to move objects, erase parts of a photo, apply unique filters that look realistic and resize the image.

Google wrote about the Magic Editor in a blog post, “This editor makes it easy to do complex photo edits with simple and intuitive actions, like repositioning your subject or turning the sky from grey to blue. Now we’re expanding access to Magic Editor to all Pixel devices.”

Meanwhile, it seems that Google will restrict the user on how many times they can save an image or a video. It is expected that it will allow 10 images and videos per month.

To use this feature without restrictions, users will have to either buy a Pixel 8 series device or subscribe to the 2TB or higher Google One Plan.

The new Magic Pixel feature is currently available on some of the Pixel 6 and 7 devices; however, reports suggested that Google is still rolling out the new feature, so it might take some time before it becomes visible on all devices.
