Prince Harry and estranged brother Prince William could give Britons a sigh of relief with just one move, a royal commentator believes.

Writing for The Daily Mail, Liz Jones shared how William and Harry could come together for one of their best pal Hugh Grosvenor’s impending nuptials in June, laying to rest years uncertainty in the UK royal camp.

Jones wrote: “It’s such a shame, a lost opportunity. Front page photographs of William and Harry suited and booted, slapping each other on the back would have brought about a national sigh of relief after so many difficult years.”

“Forget the Euros, Wimbledon, the Olympic Games in Paris: that would have been the spirit-lifting image of the summer,” Jones added.

“‘If even they can bury the hatchet, then so can we heal the rifts in our own lives.’ But no,” the expert further ranted.

Jones then likened the royal drama in the lead up to Grosvenor’s wedding to an ‘episode of EastEnders.’

“All that tension, the focus on who won’t be attending, must surely detract from what should be a wonderful day,” she wrote.

This comes days after it was confirmed that Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle had not rsvp-ed to Grosvenor’s invite, despite him being the godfather of their firstborn son Archie.

However, Prince William is set to be an usher at the grand wedding of Britain’s richest young nobleman; Grosvenor, the 7th Duke of Westminster, has a whopping net worth of more than £10billion.
