Simone Biles and Suni Lee are set to make history at the 2024 Paris Olympics as they compete in the individual all-around final on August 1.

This marks the first time two Olympic all-around champions will face off in an Olympic final.

Biles, the 2016 Olympic all-around champion, and Lee, the 2020 champion, secured their spots with impressive performances on Sunday.

In addition to this, Biles led the field with a score of 59.566, while Lee finished third with 56.132, thanks to a standout bar routine scoring 14.866.

Despite battling a calf issue, Biles achieved a record high score for women's gymnastics.

Her coach, Cecile Canqueteau-Landi, confirmed that Biles experienced minor calf pain during her warmup but has no plans to alter her routines or withdraw from competitions.

The team final will take place on July 30, while the individual all-around final is scheduled for August 1.
