Jennifer Aniston’s morning does not seem to be a good one!

The iconic Friends actress was filming for her Apple TV+ upcoming season of the highly anticipated series, The Morning Show, when she was captured being drenched in oil, which the New York Post was the first to report.

Aniston's candid photos showcased the actress being splashed with the sticky, tar-like substance, with her anger apparent as her clothes got ruined.

In the groudbreaking twist, the oil splash incident was fake as it appeared to be a part of the filming.

The whole scene was created for her show's character, Alex, who was encircled by the protestors flinging oil at her.

The Morning Show centers around the world of a network broadcasting morning news programs and the lives of two rival anchors, Alex (played by Jennifer Aniston) and Bradley (played by Reese Witherspoon), who address current issues like the pandemic and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

With its fourth season being on the way, The Morning Show was recently nominated for 16 Primetime Emmy Awards, including "Outstanding Drama Series" and "Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series" for both Jennifer Aniston and her co-star Reese Witherspoon.

To note, the premiere date of The Morning Show season 4 is yet to be announced.
