Hailey Merkt’s devoted fans have swarmed the social media with tributes and honours after her death.
The late star was a former contestant on the popular reality TV show The Bachelor. She tragically passed away after battling cancer at the age of 31.
Fellow Bachelor contestants Raven Gates, Dominique Alexis and Danielle Maltby also shared condolences on social media.
A user wrote on X (formally known as Twitter), “I'm heartbroken to hear about Hailey's passing. She was more than just a TV personality.”
Another penned, “Rest in peace, beautiful Hailey. Your sparkling smile and infectious laugh will be deeply missed.”
The tragic news about Hailey’s death was was announced on social media.
“It is with broken hearts we share that our beloved Hailey has passed away after a courageous fight for her life. Hailey faced this journey with unimaginable strength, grace, and selflessness,” the statement read.
The late star made an appearance on Nick Viall's season of The Bachelor in 2017 and quickly became a fan favorite due to her personality.
