King Charles III pokes fun at his viral leaky pen moment

King Charles takes a hilarious dig at himself for losing his calm over a leaky pen in 2022

King Charles III subtly made fun of his viral leaky pen moment in 2022 during his new sighting in Scotland.

On Wednesday, the 75-year-old monarch was given a tour of Forsinard Flows, which is recently named a UNESCO world heritage site.

Shortly after finishing the tour, Charles was requested to sign the guest book providing him the opportunity to recall the moment from 2022, when he lost his calm because of a leaking pen.

The king quickly pulled out a silver pen from his inside pocket before cracking the joke, “I’m hoping that my pen is going to work.”

“It doesn’t usually,” he added while also making sure there was “ink that doesn’t fade.”

In 2022, when Charles became the king after Queen Elizabeth’s death, he was fumed at a leaky pen while he was signing a book with his wife Camilla.

“Oh, God, I hate this pen,” he furiously said at that time while getting up after signing a book.

Charles handed the leaky pen to Camilla, who replied, “Oh, look, it’s going everywhere.”

“I can’t bear this bloody thing,” Charles noted, adding that the ink leaks “every stinking time.”

King Charles III who is battling with a form of cancer since being diagnosed in February this year will most likely to embark on his summer break soon.
