Leonardo DiCaprio will be next seen Paul Thomas Anderson’s upcoming film and the title of which has also been revealed.
As reported by a World of Reel reporter Jeff Sneider, the Titanic actor’s next movie title is, The Battle of Baktan Cross.
The Boogie Nights director’s upcoming film was shot under the production house BC Project,
Leonardo’s film title aligns well with the set photos that have leaked from the production, several of which feature a police car marked with "City of Baktan Cross."
Although not much is known about the plot or cast of the film, photos from the filming location suggest it's a heist-thriller, with Leonardo DiCaprio and Teyana Taylor both seen holding guns.
In one image, Leonardo, dressed in an all-black fit and a covered face could be seen holding a security guard at gunpoint.
Meanwhile, rumours suggest that BC Project’s upcoming film is an adaptation of Thomas Pynchon’s 1990 novel Vineland.
In the film, The Battle of Baktan Cross, Leonardo DiCaprio is portraying the role of an ex-hippie Zoyd Wheeler, who is hiding from an agent named Brock Vond.
This movie will mark Leonardo’s first project after Killers of the Flower Moon, released in October 2023.
