Josh Hartnett is offering insights into his enduring marriage to wife Tamsin Egerton!
During an interview with PEOPLE Magazine published on August 2, the Trap actor, who shares four kids with the British actress, Tamsin Egerton, talked about the important component that makes their “relationship work.”
“I think you have to give more than you feel you receive,” told Hartnett to the outlet, adding, “That's the biggest thing."
"If everybody feels like they're giving about 80 percent to the relationship and the other person's only giving 20, then you're probably both giving 50," he continued.
The Wrath of Man actor also suggested that it is crucial to give wholeheartedly in a relationship, as people are naturally inclined to be a bit selfish. They tend to recognize their own positive actions but often fail to appreciate their partner’s efforts.
“You have to consistently give more than you think you're getting, then you guys will come somewhere in the middle,” said the Paradise Lost actor.
He further added, “If both people in the relationship understand that and try for that, then I think you can have a really solid base."
