Justin Timberlake’s plea has cost him his driving license in New York!

According to PEOPLE on Friday, August 2, the Piece by Piece singer was attending his DWI hearing virtually from Europe, where he pleaded “not guilty” before the judge.

Just a few weeks after the incident, the Justified artist appealed that the charge-sheet filed against him was not correct and that he was not intoxicated while driving.

This, as a result, led to his driving license suspension, which was ordered by Sag Harbor Village Justice Carl Irace.

“The police made a number of very significant errors in this case,” stated the lawyer of the Better Place singer, adding that the actor was “not intoxicated” at the time of his DWI arrest.

“Justin respects law enforcement and the very important job that they do. He cooperated with the police officers at all times and treated them with the respect they deserve," Burke continued.

"He also respects the entire judicial process, including the district attorney and judge who were in court today."

The lawyer also asserted that they were confident that this change would be dismissed.

As Deadline reported, Timberlake’s upcoming court hearing is set to be held on Friday, August 9, where the actor may be compelled to appear in person.
