Pakistan’s most talented and gorgeous actress Saba Qamar has been all over the internet after she announced to call it off with Azeem Khan.
The actress made the shocking announcement on Instagram on Friday, and confirmed that she is no longer engaged to entrepreneur Khan.
In a detailed note, the Manto actress wrote, “Hii Everyone. I have a very important announcement to make, due to a lot of personal reasons I have decided to call it off with Azeem Khan.”
Confirming her relationship status, she went on to say, "WE ARE NOT GETTING MARRIED NOW' hope you guys will support my decision just like you all have been supporting me always, and I guess it's never too late to realise the bitter realities!”
The Hindi Medium star also added a surprising revelation that, "I also want to clear one important thing that is, I have never met Azeem Khan in my life. We were only connected over the phone." She also added that she was going through a very difficult time right now but "this too shall pass."
Qamar’s fans and fellow showbiz celebrities came out in support of her decision. Stars including, Mahira Khan, Aima Baig, Maya Ali, Yasir Hussain, Bilal Ashraf and others extended their love and support for the actress.
The Raees star, Khan was the first to drop an encouraging comment as she wrote, “You do YOU. Happiness is just around the corner InshAllah,” followed by heart emoji and dove of peace emoticon.
The Baazi crooner, Baig also commented that, “Youre a strong badass, women. Also deserves the best of the best. Love youuu.”
The Teefa In Trouble star, Maya Ali also supported Qamar and wrote, “Everything happens for the best. I am sure what you are feeling, no one can feel that. All I can say is that you’re a strong person and one day you will be smiling because nothing is more important than your inner peace and you’re worth more than anything. Loads of love and duas.”
Qamar’s co-star from Lahore Se Aagey, Yasir Hussain also sent love and strength to the actress, saying, “Jitni strong Saba hai wo utna hi strong mard deserve karti hai (Saba deserves a strong man like herself).”
“Aur yaad rakhna mard darhi mooch se nahi balky apni sachai aur imandari se banta hai. Stay strong my friend,” he added.
Renowned actress Momal Sheikh said, “Allah is a great planner and he has planned the best for you.. you are a very strong woman and inspirational to lots of girls and women stay strong.. lots of prayers and love you” followed by numerous heart emoticons.
Bilal Ashraf commented, “Only the best will happen Inshallah @sabaqamarzaman God Bless u”.
Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy also showered love on Baaghi actress’ post and dropped a heart emoticon in the comment section. “Sending you a lot of love and light,” commented Hadiqa Kiani.
The Raaz-e-Ulfat famed actress Yumna Zaidi sent love for the starlet and wrote, “Your journey has been tough and you have made it worth it, we all love it for who you are. Always pure best wishes for you,” added Zaidi.
Other actors and celebrities like Noor Bukhari, Adnan Ansari and Abdullah Sultan also commented under Saba’s post to show their support in her difficult time.
Later, Azeem Khan posted a statement in which, he took full responsibility for the breakup and said, “Saba you have the most amazing soul and you deserve all the happiness in the universe. May God bless you with all the success and love.”
